We began Planet Grandparent because the world (and your family) needs amazing grandparents.  We’re a husband and wife team, who are also loving and involved grandparents. We have a blended family, with children and stepchildren spread far and wide –so we understand some of how grandparenting is changing. Our children and grandchildren are great teachers (though they may not realize it) who inspire us to think about the many ways that grandparents can make valuable contributions to the new generation.  Planet Grandparent is our opportunity to encourage you to explore your own grand potential – how you can you enrich the lives of your grandchildren, your children, and yourselves.  We hope to share our perspectives and Becky’s insights as a psychologist who works with parents and young children.

We look forward to hearing your ideas and experiences of grandparenting.  Together, we can talk about the real challenges that grandparents face today and build a community of support and appreciation for grandparents everywhere.
